Psalm 121:4 tells us that God (Yahweh) neither slumbers nor sleeps.  Malachi 2:17 tells us that God gets weary.  So we might conclude that God gets weary because he never slumbers or sleeps.

The name Habakkuk is rather unusual and its meaning is uncertain. Some think it comes from the Hebrew word Habaq which means "to embrace" or “to fold hands.” If so, his name would mean "eager embrace."

“It’s not fair!”. That’s the plaintive cry of injustice, whether uttered from the mouth of a child who deems to have been treated differently from his siblings, or from the mouth of a teenager who’s been grounded by an angry father, or by a motorist just booked for running a red light.

(Malachi 2:1-16)

In Numbers 25, God established a priesthood covenant with Aaron’s grandson, Phinehas, and his descendants – a covenant of life and peace. It was given because Phinehas showed his zeal for God’s honor and glory, and God established the covenant that God would use Phinehas and the priesthood line to display His glory to all surrounding nations. The covenant was made so that they may fear and glorify God in their service to God.
