Sunny was born in India and had all his tertiary education in Australia. He came to the saving grace of Jesus Christ at the age of seventeen and has been actively involved in Christian ministry since that time. Sunny has worked and taught in cross-cultural situations and discipleship programs with Operation Mobilization (OM) and Interserve. He has worked in the HRD section of the largest bank in Australia, mainly involved in staff development and training. He has also pastored a church in a Melbourne suburb. He served with Interserve at Vellore Medical College in India for 9 years as a chaplain and lecturer in communication.
Sunny is a faculty member and a Resident Co-ordinator of Haggai Institute Leadership Training sessions in Hawaii and Singapore, where he lectures on the topics of Leadership and Communicating Christ to the Postmodernists.
In association with the CMDFA (Christian Medical & Dental Fellowship of Australia (VIC), he is a mentor to Christian medical interns in Victoria.
He is the National Ministry Co-ordinator of Interserve Australia (part-time). Interserve has made him available for a mission-based ministry to the Australian churches. Sunny’s long-term goal is to be involved in the pastoral care of missionaries in Asia and encourage Christians to be involved in cross-cultural service.
Sunny is married to Katrina, a medical doctor, and they have three children: one son and two daughters.
