Sandy and Maria arrived in Melbourne in 2001 as International Students.
Sandy completed his Masters degree in 2002 and his PhD in 2007, both in Computer Science. In between the studies and after his PhD study, Sandy has been working as Software Developer. Sandy has also been teaching in RMIT University as a tutor, a lab assistant, and a lecturer since 2002.
Since they arrived in Melbourne, Sandy and Maria have been involved in ISM (formerly called ISF - International Student Fellowship).
In the past, Sandy has served as a member of Easter Camp committee, an Easter camp chairperson, a cell leader, and a cell coach. Since 2005, Sandy has been the coordinator of the ISM Teaching Wing, looking after ISM cell groups and building up cell leaders and cell coaches.
Maria has also served as a member of Easter Camp committee. In 2001, Maria started the ISM Dance ministry and has been leading the ministry until now. Since 2005, Maria has been serving as the personal assistant to the ISM Pastor and as part of ISM Pastoral Leadership Team.
Sandy and Maria have two children, a daughter named Jochebed (3.5 years old) and a son named Jochanan (2 years old).
