We read in the New Testament that "the Lord added to the church those who were being saved being saved" (Acts 2:41-47), those who professed "Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:6). Membership has two dimensions, that

1. as Christians, we become members of a worldwide community embracing believers of all nations and cultures
2. we commit to a local community of believers to grow, develop and impact the surrounding community.

Members who enter into convenant with a local church are called to a higher level of responsibility and service, by

• attending at least one worship service and one cell group
• praying, both privately and corporately
• giving
